Mission:

"AIDS Project Hartford is a private, non-profit community-based organization that serves more than 750 HIV-positive individuals each year and an equal number of individuals who are at high risk for contracting HIV. The agency operates the Hartford Syringe Exchange Program which provides service to more than 500 individuals each year and helps to link many of these individuals to drug treatment, primary care and social services. AIDS Project Hartford also operates a drop-in center in Hartford which provides an array of medical and supportive services to people living with HIV/AIDS. The agency is always looking for volunteers to assist on an ongoing basis or to help with periodic special events."

Serving: All those infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS.


Special Events: Events including AIDS Walk as well as information on regular events!


Needs: Volunteers to assist with fundraising and awareness raising events and activites.
